Registering

Registering is very easy. Just click on the "LOGIN / REGISTER" link at the top of the screen.

Quick Start

After registration, check your email for verification link. Clicking it will log you in. A "My Account" link, which will take you to your Account, is always present in the upper right hand corner of screen. Once here, create a new company. Then create a job. Don't forget to activate your job, otherwise it will not appear on the website.

Job Search

There are two types of search criteria: keywords and location. Keywords are search terms related to a job that you are searching for. For example, you can search for "manager", "engineer", "real estate". This search will also bring up company names that contain your keywords. For example, if you search for "manager" and there is a company named "Managers International", jobs by that company will come up in your search. You have to input at least one type of search criteria, either a keyword, or location, otherwise the search will be empty.

Searching by Location

In the location box you can put either city name and state or zipcode. City name HAS to be in this format: "city, state" and the state has to be abbreviated to its common two letter abbreviation. If a location is specified, but no keywords, the search will bring up all the jobs around your location sorted by most recently added first.

Posting Jobs

All jobs need to be posted under a company, so a company needs to be created before you can post a job. Once you have logged in, click on companies, then create new company. Fill out all the required fields and you are done. If you fill out any optional fields, they will show up in "company view", if you don't fill them out, they will not show up. Next, click on Jobs, and "Create New Job". Pretty much the same process as when you have created a company. Once you are done, you will be taken back to the "Companies" jobs screen, where you can preview your job and company and see them exactly as they would appear to a job seeeker. If you are not satisfied with anything, you can go back and edit your input. Your job will not be included in the "LIVE" search until it is activated. Activation process is very simple, you just click on the "ACTIVATE" link next to each particular job. The system will tell you if you don't have enough credits, otherwise just click on the activation confirmation link and voila!, your job is active.
